I've tried the same thing in the past as an attempt to avoid the modified OpenLayers requirement, but ran into some really odd behaviour. While the street map ("CARTOGRAPHICAL") layer worked ok, I could never get the satellite layer to work predictably. Depending on the tile size I set for the WMS layer, I'd either get a server error or tiles offset by ~50m from their correct location. <br /><br />The whole thing is made even more difficult by the lack of supported projections on the VicMap WMS. I'd honestly prefer they just served up pre-rendered tiles in a standard web mapping projection... much more usable and friendly for mash-ups!Nyallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03975016935167337764noreply@blogger.com
